SCE Upgrade Project

The upcoming SCE Upgrade project consists of replacing and upgrading many of the aged infrastructure such as wooden poles, transformers, cables, among others components of the electrical distribution system in Rancho Palos Verdes.  The first of six phases is tentatively scheduled to start with preparation work in mid-March 2016.  The first phase of this project will take place on the east side of the City including the Miraleste area extending east to Western Avenue.  SCE representatives have indicated that residents affected by this work receive advanced notifications from SCE several days prior to commencement to any work.  SCE has also set up a website to assist customers with information to prepare for the project impacts at "What to Expect as We Work in Your Area".
