Each year the Code Enforcement Division responds to hundreds of complaints. There is no fee to file a complaint. Please be sure to provide the correct information regarding the location and a description of the potential violation. Please note that if the information is incorrect, insufficient, or missing important information, the Code Enforcement Officer will not investigate your complaint.

Report a Violation

If you are unable to complete your request online, you may submit a complaint either the following methods:

In Person:

• Visit the Community Development Department and fill out the Code Enforcement Complaint Form.

Via Email:

• Download the Code Enforcement Complaint Form (PDF) and email it directly to the Code Enforcement Division at CodeEnforcement@RPVca.gov

• Provide a callback number, the exact address of the violating property, and specific information about the alleged violation(s).
