For information regarding the Planning Commission and various Committee vacancies noted below, please see the Notice of Recruitment (PDF).

Applications for the Planning Commission and various Committees may be obtained by contacting the City Clerk’s Office at 310-544-5217, downloading the Application for Appointment (PDF), or by completing the Application for Appointment Form online. Please complete and submit the form to the City Clerk’s Office by 4:30 p.m. Friday, January 27, 2023. 

Interviews with the City Council are tentatively scheduled to take place on February 7 and February 21, 2023, at 6 p.m. at Fred Hesse Community Park, McTaggart Hall. The City Clerk’s Office will confirm the date and time of the interviews with the applicants. 

 Please note that that applications will be retained for future consideration for vacancies within other City committees.
