For information regarding the Emergency Preparedness Committee vacancies noted below, please see the Notice of Recruitment (PDF).

Applications for the Emergency Preparedness Committee may be obtained by contacting the City Clerk’s Office at 310-544-5217, downloading the Application for Appointment (PDF), or by completing the Application for Appointment Form online. Please complete and submit the form to the City Clerk’s Office by 4:30 p.m. Friday, May 26, 2023. 

Interviews with the City Council are tentatively scheduled to take place on June 6, 2023, prior to the regularly scheduled City Council Meeting virtually using the Zoom platform. The City Clerk’s Office will confirm the date and time of the interviews with the applicants. 

 Please note that that applications will be retained for future consideration for vacancies within other City committees.
