Abalone Cove Park remains open for its regular hours from one hour before sunrise to one hour after sunset. Parking lot hours are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.  For up-to-date information on trail conditions and closures, please visit rpvca.gov/trailalerts

Features

Abalone Cove Reserve features two beaches (Abalone Cove and Sacred Cove), tide pools, bluff top viewing areas and trails crisscrossing the area.  The 109-acre Preserve contains an official State Marine Conservation Area (SMCA) with important natural marine resources, including tidepools, and the bottom of the Portuguese Bend landslide.
