ATTENTION!!! It has come to the Lomita Sheriff's Station's attention that there is a SCAMMER currently calling residents in our area claiming to be our Unit Commander, Captain Beringer. The SCAMMER will try and get the person receiving the phone call to purchase gift cards to pay for an "outstanding bench warrant." THIS IS A SCAM!
