The City of Rolling Hills Estates advises that a Southern California Edison (SCE) contractor will be removing and replacing two transmission power poles on Hawthorne Blvd. between Palos Verdes Dr. N. and Blackhorse Rd. on the evening of Wednesday, October 24th. Southbound Hawthorne Blvd. will be closed at Palos Verdes Dr. N. from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM.
This closure will not affect northbound traffic on Hawthorne Blvd. Please adjust your travel plans as necessary. Detours will be posted on Hawthorne Blvd. at Palos Verdes Dr. N., directing southbound traffic to use Crenshaw Blvd. or Silver Spur Rd.
