Starting Monday, October 7th,
Southern California Edison (SCE) will be in your area conducting aerial
inspections of electric equipment, including the use of drones, Mondays -
Saturdays. These inspections are
important to ensure equipment is operating safely and lines are clear, keeping
the community safe and to reduce the increasing threat of wildfires. The amount
of time it takes to conduct aerial inspections varies. This City has exempted SCE’s
use of drones from the “no drone” policy, as this is assisting and expediting
the necessary inspections to help keep our community safe.
