Kickoff Event: Final Round Opportunity for RPV Residents
Saturday, February 22, 2020
12:30 PM – 3:30 PM
Fred Hesse, Jr. Community Park
In a continued effort to enhance neighborhood safety, the City has partnered with Ring to offer a fourth and final opportunity for Rancho Palos Verdes residents to purchase select Ring security devices at a $100 discount. Residents will have the opportunity to meet Ring staff, see the devices, and ask questions at a kickoff event on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at 12:30 p.m. at the Fred Hesse, Jr. Community Park Building.
This incentive program is only available to Rancho Palos Verdes residents, and who have not participated in the program before. If you have questions on participation or the program, please contact Partnerhelp@ring.com.
To qualify for the program, residents will need to submit proof of residency to Ring. Upon verification of RPV residency, Ring will send you a unique one-time discount code that will subsidize $100 for your select Ring security device.
The incentive program will be offered from February 22 through April 6, 2020 on a first-come, first-served basis, so purchase your devices before the allotted number of discounts run out!
The select Ring devices and their pricing are as follows:
Peephole Cam - $99 (retail price of $199)
Video Doorbell 2 - $99 (retail price of $199)
Video Doorbell Pro - $149 (retail price of $249)

The City would like to highlight the optional purchase of a Ring Protect Plan. Each security device purchase includes free basic functions, such as a two-way talk, lifetime theft protection, real-time video feeds, and motion-activated notifications. Ring Protect Plans additionally offer video saving, sharing, video history and the ability to take screenshot captures – all which can help deter theft and have the potential to assist law enforcement in the event of a burglary or other illegal activity. Subscriptions are not required to use Ring devices.
