Housing Element October 19

On October 19, the City Council will review the City of Rancho Palos Verdes Draft Housing Element, a document outlining ways the City can meet its state-required 6th Cycle Regional Housing Needs Assessment allocation of accommodating 647 housing units (including 8 units carried over from the 5th Cycle) in various income levels for the next planning period of 2021-2029.

The hybrid in-person/virtual meeting will take place at 7 p.m. in McTaggart Hall at Fred Hesse Jr. Community Park and via Zoom with a very limited number of in-person attendees and COVID-19 safety protocols in place. Virtual participation is highly encouraged. The meeting will be live-streamed on the City website and televised on RPVtv Cox 33/Frontier FiOS 38.

The City Council will consider adopting the Housing Element at a meeting tentatively scheduled for February 2022. Details are to be announced.
