[ARCHIVED] Temporary Trail Closure in the Portuguese Bend Nature Reserve

The City of Rancho Palos Verdes will be temporarily closing trails within the Portuguese Bend Nature Reserve for trail remediation work January through March 2016 per Municipal Code Section 12.16.090. Toyon Trail, the upper portion of Peppertree Trail, and a small portion of Vanderlip Trail will be closed January 27th through March 7th. Additional closures may become necessary as work progresses.

Please check the City’s Palos Verdes Nature Preserve webpage for updates, or you may contact the Recreation and Parks Department at 310-544-5260 or parks@rpvca.gov Monday through Friday for additional information. You may also call the Ranger Hotline at 310-491-5775 on weekends for information.

Part of this trail remediation includes volunteer trail work days. If you are interested in volunteer work, please contact the Recreation and Parks Department.
