Ring Picture_Website

Ring Security Device Subsidy Program
In a continued effort to enhance neighborhood safety, the City has partnered with Ring to offer a fourth and final opportunity for Rancho Palos Verdes residents to purchase select Ring security devices at a $100 discount.

This incentive program is only available to Rancho Palos Verdes residents who have not participated in the program before. To qualify for the program, residents will need to submit proof of residency to Ring. Upon verification of RPV residency, Ring will send you a unique one-time discount code that will subsidize $100 for your select Ring security device.

RPV residents can participate in the program by filling out the information in the form HERE to verify residency. If you have questions on participation or the program, please contact Partnerhelp@ring.com.

The incentive program is being offered from February 22 through April 6, 2020 on a first-come, first-served basis, so purchase your devices before the allotted number of discounts run out!

The select Ring devices and their pricing are as follows:
Peephole Cam - $99 (retail price of $199)
Video Doorbell 2 - $99 (retail price of $199)
Video Doorbell Pro - $149 (retail price of $249)
Spotlight Cam Solar - $129 (retail price of $229)
Spotlight Cam Battery - $99 (retail price of $199)
Spotlight Cam Wired - $99 (retail price of $199)
Floodlight Cam - $149 (retail price of $249)
Alarm Security Kit (5-Piece) - $99 (retail price of $199)

Download the free Ring app to use with your device at the App Store or Google Play by using the link http://m.onelink.me/fe77b5ca.

The City would like to highlight the optional purchase of a Ring Protect Plan. Each security device purchase includes free basic functions, such as a two-way talk, lifetime theft protection, real-time video feeds, and motion-activated notifications. Ring Protect Plans additionally offer video saving, sharing, video history and the ability to take screenshot captures – all which can help deter theft and have the potential to assist law enforcement in the event of a burglary or other illegal activity. Subscriptions are not required to use Ring devices.

For additional information regarding Ring security devices, visit www.Ring.com. If you have questions about the program or how to participate, please contact Administrative Analyst Shane Lee at slee@rpvca.gov.
