The City is pleased to announce that Senior Planner Octavio Silva has been promoted to Deputy Director of Community Development/Planning Manager.
Mr. Silva has served as the Interim Deputy Director of Community Development since November 2019 and has shown great leadership and garnered the respect of his colleagues. With over 15 years of experience in local planning, including six years in Rancho Palos Verdes, Mr. Silva brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to meet the needs of the City and will help to move the department forward.
