October 19, 2020 (Palos Verdes, CA.) - Palos Verdes Peninsula Transportation Authority (PV Transit) will offer FREE dial-a-ride service to voting sites on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, to seniors, 62 and older and person with disabilities. This free Election Day transportation is exclusively for seniors, and persons with disabilities who reside in Rolling Hills Estates, Palos Verdes Estates and Rancho Palos Verdes.
“PV Transit, along with several other public transportation agencies, are offering free rides as an part of our role as an essential public service,” said PV Transit Administrator Martin Gombert.
This free on demand door-to-door service will be provided on November 3, 2020 from 7:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. Advanced one-way and roundtrip reservations may be made from 9:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. beginning Tuesday, October 20, by calling (310) 544-3710. Same day reservations can also be made starting at 6:00 A.M on Tuesday, November 3. The last pick-up at polling locations will be at 9:00 P.M.
This free bus service covers the Palos Verdes Peninsula ONLY.
