Construction is prohibited on December 25 (Christmas Day), January 1 (New Year's Day) and January 2 (Observed Federal Holiday) unless a Special Construction Permit is approved by the Director of Community Development. There will be no street sweeping on December 26 and January 2, instead Monday routes will occur on Wednesday, December 28 and January 4. There will be no change in regularly-scheduled trash collection.
City parks (except for Abalone Cove Park and all park buildings) will be open on Christmas Day and New Year's Day for their regular posted hours.
