[ARCHIVED] Local Emergency Declaration Renewal Discussion February 6

Local Emergency Declaration Renewal Discussion February 6, 7 pm at Hesse Park and via Zoom

On February 6, the City Council will consider renewing the local emergency declaration that was put in place in October to bolster the City’s response to accelerated movement in the landslide complex. The declaration must be renewed every 60 days to remain in effect. It was most recently renewed in December.

The City geologist will present his latest findings and City staff will provide an update on various activities and solutions to address the land movement since the local state of emergency was declared, as well as the latest trail conditions. A staff report (PDF) with more information is available on the City website.View Staff Report (PDF)
