[ARCHIVED] City Council to Consider Coyote Control Measures on July 19th

Coyote

Coyotes have been a part of the City since well before its development and incorporation. However, over the past several months, there has been a significant increase in the number of reported coyote sightings, not only in Rancho Palos Verdes but in the surrounding Palos Verdes Peninsula cities as well.

The City Council will be reviewing the City’s current and possible future coyote control measures at its meeting on July 19th. The agenda report will be posted on the City’s website by July 12th. The City Council meets at 7:00 PM in McTaggart Hall at Hesse Park Community Building, 29301 Hawthorne Blvd., Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275.

For additional information, please contact Code Enforcement Officer Julie Peterson at (310) 544-5299 or juliep@rpvca.gov, or Director of Community Development Ara Mihranian at (310) 544-5227 or aram@rpvca.gov.
