On April 26, 2017, the City’s labor negotiating team and the Rancho Palos Verdes Employees Association (RPVEA) reached a tentative agreement (TA) on a new Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).  Click here to review the TA.  The current MOU expires on June 30, 2017.  RPVEA members ratified the TA on May 9, 2017.

In accordance with the City’s OPEN Policy (Administrative Instruction No. 2-20), the TA and Successor MOU must be reviewed by the City Council at two (2) meetings. Therefore, this matter will appear on the City Council’s agenda on June 6th (for introduction) and June 20th (for adoption). The TA is also posted on the City’s website at the link provided below.  If adopted, the Successor MOU will be in effect for a 3-year period from July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2020.
