There will be two street sweeping day changes due to the Thanksgiving holiday. There will be no street sweeping on Thursday November 23rd in observance of the Thanksgiving Day holiday.
The regularly-scheduled 4th Thursday of the month sweeping will be performed on Friday November 24th to avoid a conflict with trash collection. The areas affected are in the northwesterly section of the City. Those areas include the streets near Silver Spur, Cornerstone and Soleado Elementary schools such as Groveoak, Flambeau, Montemalaga, Basswood, Fond du Lac, Longhill, Browndeer, Silver Arrow, Silver Spur, etc.
The regularly scheduled 4th Friday of the month sweeping will be performed on Wednesday November 22nd. Those areas include the streets by Vista Grande Elementary School such as Golden Meadow, Monero, San Nicolas, Eddinghill, Abbottswood, Verde Ridge, Trailriders, etc.
