Update on Cal Water Paving on PV Drive North, Rolling Hills Road, and Montecillo Drive

Please see the following update from Cal Water noting that paving on Palos Verdes Drive North, Rolling Hills Road, and Montecillo Drive is now expected to take place for approximately three days starting as early as Monday, August 3:

Dear Residents,

We’re reaching out to provide you with an update on California Water Service’s (Cal Water) Palos Verdes Peninsula Water Reliability Project as it relates to upcoming paving on Palos Verdes Drive North, Rolling Hills Road, and Montecillo Drive.

As an update to the email we sent earlier this week, paving is now expected to take place for approximately three days starting as early as Monday, August 3 (please note that work may start later). Crews will conduct final paving in the following areas:

Rolling Hills Road (between Lariat Lane and Rolling Hills Road (private road)

• Work hours are from 9 a.m to 7 p.m.
• While paving is underway, southbound traffic will be temporarily diverted to the northbound lane, but vehicles will be able to travel in each direction at all times. Flaggers will be present to facilitate traffic and assist residents accessing Lariat Lane and Rolling Hills Road (private road). Please expect delays while work takes place and use alternate routes, where possible.

Palos Verdes Drive North (between Dapplegray Lane and PV Drive East)

• Work hours are from 9 a.m to 7 p.m.
• During work hours, eastbound and westbound traffic will be open but limited to one lane in each direction, with lanes reopening after work is complete. Please expect delays while work takes place and use alternate routes, where possible.

Montecillo Drive (between Palos Verdes Drive North and Encanto Drive)

• Work hours are from 7 a.m to 5 p.m.
• As paving takes place, there will be a temporary closure of the northbound lane with traffic diverted to the southbound lane, but residents will have access to Montecillo Drive at all times.

For the safety of crew members and residents, we kindly ask that you continue to slow down while driving in construction zones.
