Red Flag Warning Issued for October 26-27
The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning that will be in effect from 5 a.m. Monday, October 26, to 6 p.m. Tuesday, October 27, due to gusty north to northeast Santa Ana winds and very low humidity.
A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now or will shortly. A combination of strong winds, low relative humidity and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior. Use extreme caution with potential fire ignition sources. Residents are urged to assemble their emergency supply kit and know your evacuation route.
