High Surf Advisory Issued for November 6-8
The National Weather Service has issued a High Surf Advisory from 4 p.m. today, November 6, to 4 p.m. Sunday, November 8, with breaking waves of 5 to 8 feet and dangerous rip currents expected.
Beachgoers should use caution and be mindful of dangerous rip currents and sneaker waves. Swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current, relax and float. Don't swim against the current. If able, swim in a direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the shore and call or wave for help.
