Red Flag Warning Issued for December 23-24
The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning that will be in effect from 8 a.m. Wednesday, December 23 to 12 p.m. Thursday, December 24, due to gusty winds and low relative humidity.
A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now or will shortly. A combination of strong winds, low relative humidity and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior. Use extreme caution with potential fire ignition sources. Residents are urged to assemble their emergency supply kit and know your evacuation route.
