Traffic Signal at Hawthorne Boulevard and Via Rivera

A new traffic signal was placed into operation last Thursday, and adjustments were made to the signal programming on Friday afternoon. The signal is designed to remain as a green light for traffic along Hawthorne Boulevard, unless vehicles are detected at the Via Rivera or Golden Cove driveways or turn lanes.  The City will be monitoring the operation of the new signal and making adjustments as necessary in the days and weeks to come.
