Preserve Shuttle Service On Hold

On July 6, 2021, the Rancho Palos Verdes City Council voted to place the Palos Verdes Nature Preserve pilot shuttle service program on hold for 90 days. 
 
This period will allow staff to assess the overall impact of not having complimentary shuttle service on Preserve parking. The shuttle service has transported Preserve visitors from the City Hall parking lot to shuttle stops at the Point Vicente Interpretive Center, Abalone Cove, and Lower Portuguese Bend Reserve on Friday-Sunday since the 90-day pilot program started on April 9. 
 
This program may be reconsidered by the City Council at the October 5, 2021 meeting.
