COVID-19 Update: Vaccine Boosters Now Available to Anyone Ages 12+
COVID-19 vaccine providers in Los Angeles County are now administering booster doses to anyone ages 12+ after Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Rochelle P. Walensky affirmed a recommendation by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to expand booster eligibility to children ages 12-15.
Kids ages 12+ can now get a booster dose of the Pfizer vaccine at least five months after their second dose.
Parents can make an appointment at VaccinateLACounty.com or MyTurn.CA.gov.
For information on when you should get a booster, what kind you can get, and information on additional doses for immunocompromised persons, see the L.A. County Department of Public Health's Eligibility Summary Table (PDF).
