Palos Verdes Drive South Roadway Repairs in the Landslide Area

Road work will be performed along PVDS in the landslide area.  Work could begin as soon as this Friday and continue for approximately two weeks. Several areas along the stretch of roadway through the landslide will be repaired to create a smoother driving surface.  Some sections will require grinding and replacing asphalt. The contractor will be working between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.  These repairs are extensive and may have significant impacts on traffic.  The traveling public is advised to seek alternate routes if possible.  If you plan to travel on Palos Verdes Drive South during these times, please allow up to 10 minutes of extra time to reach your destination.  When traveling through the landslide during these times please proceed slowly, yield to workers and obey traffic control at the site.
