City Council Meeting Highlights

On August 16, the City Council heard a presentation from the California Department of Insurance about how to find residential fire insurance and use home hardening techniques to protect against wildfire. Learn more at rpvca.gov/emergency and insurance.ca.gov.

The Council also continued a public hearing on proposed code amendments related to SB 9 regulating urban lot splits, second units and two-unit developments in single-family residential zones; and directed City staff to explore modifying the ParkMobile parking system near Del Cerro Park to allow real-time reservations rather than the current advanced reservation model.
