City Council Meeting Tonight

Don’t miss tonight’s City Council meeting, March 21, at 7 p.m.

The meeting will include a public hearing to seek feedback on the Draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for the proposed Portuguese Bend Landslide Remediation Project, which aims to significantly slow land movement that has damaged homes, utilities, and infrastructure for nearly seven decades.

The hearing will include a presentation of the findings of the Draft EIR, an informational report that studies how a proposed major construction project could affect the environment and what can be done to mitigate those effects. EIRs are meant to inform decision-makers and the public of any potential impacts before a project can be built. The Draft EIR is available at rpvca.gov/landslide.
