Traffic Alert: Utility Work on Hawthorne Blvd in Hesse Park Area Starting August 22

Starting August 22, a contractor for Southern California Edison will be performing utility work along Hawthorne Boulevard southbound approaching Verde Ridge Road and ending south of Locklenna Lane. The bus stop located at the entrance of Hesse Park will be closed during this project. 

Work will take place from approximately 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday - Friday and is expected to last approximately two to three weeks. 

Expect delays and consider an alternate route. If you must drive through this area during construction hours, please proceed slowly, yield to workers, and obey traffic control at the site.
