Civic Center Master Plan Discussion

The City of Rancho Palos Verdes is in the process of developing a master plan to potentially redevelop the Ken Dyda Civic Center on Hawthorne Boulevard, a former Nike missile site that has housed City Hall since the mid-1970s.

On October 17, the City Council will consider recommendations from the Civic Center Advisory Committee and Finance Advisory Committee regarding a preliminary conceptual site plan, project phasing, and potential project funding options, and to determine whether to proceed to Stage 2 of the master planning process.

The hybrid in-person/virtual meeting will take place at 7 p.m. in McTaggart Hall at Hesse Park and via Zoom. Watch live on the City website or on RPVtv Cox 33/Frontier FiOS 38.
