Volunteers Needed for Whale of A Day

Volunteers are needed to help run kids' activities at the 40th annual Whale Of A Day Festival, on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at the Point Vicente Interpretive Center. Activities include: craft tables, face painting, origami, games, water/snack sales, and crowd management at the bounce house.

THE SIGN-UP DEADLINE IS THURSDAY, APRIL 10TH!

Email volunteer@rpvca.gov to sign up, please make sure to indicate which shift you would like to work. 

This volunteer event would like to recruit high school students only. 

•    IMPORTANT! A parent/guardian must sign a waiver if you are under 18. You can also receive Community Service hours/points. Please print out the two-page form linked here, Have the waiver signed, and bring both pages along to the Festival to get verification of completion. Thank you!

•    ALSO IMPORTANT! There is no parking at the event site. Free parking and shuttle service are at RPV City Hall, 30940 Hawthorne Boulevard. 

Volunteers can also be dropped off and picked up at the event site.

1) 9:30am -1:15pm or

2) 1pm - 4:30pm
