Traffic Alert: Overnight Work Along PV Drive South through May 30

Starting tonight, April 21, 2025, the Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts (LACSD) will be performing ongoing overnight work along Palos Verdes Drive South from their Abalone Cove Pumping Plant east of Sea Cove Drive, to Klondike Canyon, as part of a sewer replacement project.

Construction on this project has been ongoing during the daytime; however, additional nighttime work will begin tonight and continue until May 30 to minimize traffic disruptions during normal business hours. This timeline is subject to change based on circumstances encountered during construction.

Expect traffic delays and lane closures affecting both directions on Palos Verdes Drive South from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., Monday nights through Saturday mornings, until further notice.
