[ARCHIVED] City Council to Review Ladera Linda Park Master Plan on August 1st

LLMP A-1 (400x250)

On Tuesday, August 1st, the Rancho Palos Verdes City Council will reviewing and potentially approving a recommended design for Ladera Linda Park.  The recommended design is the result of City Council guidance and extensive public feedback, particularly from residents living near to the park.  The recommended design reflects the City Council’s “less is more” approach to park planning.  The design reduces the existing square footage of the current buildings, maintains existing park elements, does not add any additional elements, and keeps the park’s low-key neighborhood feel.

Click here to review the August 1st City Council agenda report.  For more information and to see the recommended design (Concept A-1),  click here to visit the Ladera Linda Park Master Plan webpage.

The August 1st City Council Meeting starts at 7:00 PM in McTaggart Hall at Fred Hesse, Jr.  Community Park, located at 29301 Hawthorne Blvd., Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275.  Please contact Recreation and Parks Senior Administrative Analyst Matt Waters with any questions or concerns at mattw@rpvca.gov or at (310) 544-5218.
