Residential Streets Rehabilitation Projects

The Residential Street Rehabilitation Program is currently part of a 7 year pavement preservation cycle. It provides for the preservation of street pavement, the repair of damaged sidewalk, curb and gutter, and compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. The goal of the project is to prolong the Rancho Palos Verdes roadway life in the most cost-effective and efficient way.

Areas 3 & 4 Residential Rehabilitation Project

Phase I of the Residential Street Rehabilitation Project will consist of removing and replacing public sidewalk, ramps, driveway aprons, curb and gutter, crack routing and sealing, and AC dig-outs at various locations throughout Areas 3 and 4. This work will be followed by asphalt surface treatment for all public streets in Areas 3 and 4 in Phase II. Construction is expected to start in August 2019. If you are a resident in this area, you can expect to receive a letter and separately notifications with schedules as the information is available.
